Originally published under the title Jerusalem Arabic, this book is aimed at students beginning to learn the Arabic dialect spoken by Palestinians. Arabic in the book is written in transcription using the Roman alphabet as the book is not focused on writing but rather on the essential features and vocabulary of the Palestinians. The book is enhanced by audio MP3 files available for free download; previous editions included a CD or cassette tapes. A dictionary is included at the back of the book.
