In 2011, the Egyptian people staged 18 days of demonstrations that resulted in the overthrow of president Hosni Mubarak. Since then, there has bee much discussion about the political nature of the protest and current state of the country. This collection of lessons uses primary sources and literature to put a human face on the January 25 revolution and encourages students to understand how individual Egyptians experienced the revolution. >
