Directed by Brigid Maher, Veiled Voices is a 2009 documentary film looking at the lives of three women leaders in Islam. The three women focused on in the film are Ghina Hammoud, Dr. Su’ad Saleh, and Huda al-Habash from Lebanon, Egypt, and Syria respectively. Veiled Voices is one hour long; this set also comes with Sheikha Stories, which are five short documentaries about women in Islam. The film is in English but also dubbed in Arabic. >
