Description:

As an increasing number of refugees in the Arab world settle in urban areas, it is essential to understand the unique challenges faced by refugees as well as the providers of aid and assistance. This collection of lesson plans introduces students to the legal framework of the International Refugee Regime and the specific conditions of different populations of urban refugees who have settled in Jordan, including those from Iraq, Syria and Sudan. These lessons are based on field research conducted in Jordan and Lebanon in 2013. >
