حكايات سمسم مشروع انتاج مشترك مع ورشة سيسيمي ستريت وهو المقابل الأردني لبرنامج سيسيمي ستريت Sesame Street . بالرغم من أن العرض مصمم لمخاطبة جمهور يتحدث العربية كلغة أولى، حيث يستخدم الممثلون اللهجة الشامية، إلاّ أن هنالك الكثير من مقاطع الفيديو التي تُركّز على عناصر اللغة العربية الفصحى المعاصرة، كما إن محتواها يتوافق مع المستوى اللغوي المتقدم ـ مبتدئين أو الأدني ـ متوسط لدارسي اللغة العربية.
Hikayat Simsim is a project co-produced by the Sesame Workshop and it is the Jordanian equivalent of Sesame Street. Although the show is designed for native Arabic speakers and the actors use Levantine Arabic, there are many video clips that focus on elements of MSA, and its content is at a linguistic level appropriate for beginning-high or intermediate-low Arabic students.
