MIT Global Shakespeares is a project/website seeking to provide access to international approaches to Shakespeare, with a portion of the site devoted to the Arab world. Using video clips of productions and academic articles, this site provides a unique look at how a Western cultural icon is viewed and reinterpreted around the world. This website is highly recommended for students and researchers interested in intersections of culture as artists in other cultures find expression of issues of relevance to their own lives in Shakespeare’s words and ideas. >
