Muftah is a website and organization that seeks to provide perspectives on the Middle East from voices that are largely ignored by the Western and mainstream media. Articles focus on topics beyond the standard narratives of terrorism and oil by exploring human rights, gender/sexuality, youth, and culture. Muftah’s philosophy is unabashedly anti-war, anti-discrimination, and pro-Palestinian.
