This film guide is designed to follow the film My Neighborhood which tells the true story of Mohammed El Kurd, an 11 year old Palestinian boy from East Jerusalem. After Mohammed and his family are displaced by Israeli settlers, they join with other neighborhood residents to hold unarmed protests. Several Israeli supporters join the protests and, simultaneously, build friendships with Mohammed and his family. The guide provides notes for the discussion facilitator as well as suggested ground rules. It also includes pre-screening preparation content and the actual discussion questions.
