This website for the 2009 Saatchi Gallery exhibit “Unveiled: New Art from the Middle East” allows students to explore contemporary artists from the Middle East. This collection of images will help students think of visual arts in the Middle East not just in terms of calligraphy, miniature paintings, and decor, but as a vibrant part of Middle Eastern society and the art world at large.
