Description:

This article and lesson activity from Bill Bigelow challenges students to reconsider what we define as “terrorism” in the wake of September 11. It presents students with a number of situations and asks them to determine if the situation describes an act of terrorism, and if so, who would be considered the terrorists. While the situations are not limited to the Middle East, this activity does challenge the stereotypes connecting terrorism and the Middle East.
