ياللي زرعتو البرتآن عبارة عن موقع تفاعلي مصمم أساساً كمقدمة للموسيقى العربية تتناسب مع دارسي اللغة العربية صغار السن. يستخدم الموقع في ذلك أعمال الفنانين العرب الأكثر شهرة مثل أم كلثوم، حيث يقدّم الموقع صفحات إعلامية تفاعلية لتحقيق أي من الأغراض 1) تشغيل الموسيقى العربية بالتزامن مع عرض نص مكتوب ضمن سياق بعينه بحيث يمكّن الدارسين من تذوّق الموسيقى/الثقافة العربية 2)تعريف الدارسين والمعلمين بعلم الموسيقى العربية، مع التركيز بصورة خاصة على مفردات الأشعار الغنائية المختارة ضمن الموقع والإيقاعات والآلات الموسيقية. ويسعى الموقع لإنجاز الهدف الأخير من خلال اتاحة الفرصة للمستخدم أن يستمع للأغنية بينما يعرض الموقع في الزمن الفعلي الأنغام/الإيقاعات/ ألخ وهي تنجز في لحظات محددة من تنفيذ الأغنية.
Yalli Zara’tu-l Burtu’an/Those who planted the oranges is an interactive website designed primarily to introduce young students to Arabic music. Using the work of popular Arab artists, such as Umm Kulthum, the website provides interactive media pages to either 1) play Arabic music alongside written, contextualizing text in order to have students appreciate Arabic music/culture, and 2) introduce students and teachers to the science of Arab music, paying particular attention to the website’s selected songs’ lyrics, diction, rhythms, and instrumentals. The latter is accomplished by allowing the use to listen to the song while the website displays in real time the tones/rhythms/etc. at play in particular points of the song.
