وهو برنامج يشتمل على 29 شريحة عرض تشرح نظام الجذر ووزن الكلمة ويعطي ملخص موجز للمبادئ الأساسية في قواعد اللغة العربية ويستخدم في ذلك كتابة الأصوات العربية بالحروف اللاتينية في غالب النص. تستخدم شرائح العرض أشكال تفاعلية لتوفّر مفتاح الأجوبة على الأسئلة حيث يهدف العرض إلى إعطاء دروس في قواعد اللغة بطريقة مبسّطة وسهلة الاستخدام.
يعرض الجزء الثاني لمحة عامة عن نظام الأوزان عن طريق توضيح الترابط بين مجموعة من البادئات بالتركيز على أوزان الحروف الذي تربط بين كل كلمات المجموعة المحددة. يقدّم العرض قائمة من سلسلة كلمات ويطلب من المستخدم أن يركّز على البادئات. الشرائح اللاحقة تطلب من المستخدم التعرّف على معنى الكلمات بناءً على فهمه للبادئة المستخدمة في كل كلمة. يمكن للمستخدم أيضاً التأكد من صحة إجاباته باستخدام مفتاح الحلول المرفق في أسفل كل شريحة.
Arabic Online’s 29 slide presentation of the root and pattern system provides a quick summary of foundational grammar principles in mostly transliterated English. Using interactive forms that provide answer keys to questions, the slides seek to impart grammar lessons in a simplified and user-friendly manner.
Part 2 briefly overviews the pattern system by demonstrating the interrelatedness of a set of prefixes by focusing on the letter patterns that bring them together. The powerpoint presentation lists a series of words and asks the user to pay particular attention to the prefixes. Subsequent slides ask the user to indicate the meaning of the words based on their understanding of the prefixes. Answer keys are provided so users may check their answers.
