The objective of this lesson is for students to identify relationships between ideas and events in authentic reports and provide relevant oral interpretation, translation, and written discourse. In this lesson, students will need to: identify the common theme in two reports, interpret short authentic audio segments, translate important information in an authentic report; and write a summary in Arabic for a relevant authentic article. Ultimately, students are given the ability to test the knowledge they acquired in this unit.
