تقدّم "أنشطة لكل الأوقات-ألعاب لغوية" نوعين من الأنشطة المصصمة لاستغلال الموسيقى لتعليم دروس كوسيط تعليمي لتقديم دروس في غاية الأهمية لعملية تعلّم اللغة. يهدف النشاطان وهما ا"لاختبار(كلوز) الموسيقي" و"القصائد الغنائية المبعثرة" إلى تطوير مهارات القراءة والاستماع، بالإضافة إلى القدرة على الاستنتاج من السياق. وكذلك يهدفان إلى رفع الوعي لدى الطلاب بالإشارات الدلالية في الخطاب اللغوي وفهم القرائن السياقية
ولتحقيق هذه الأهداف، يدرج الموقع قائمة بالتوجيهات المفصّلة حول كيفية اختيار الأغاني، والإعدادات لمرحلة قبل البدء في النشاط بصورة فعلية، وغيرها من الطرق أثناء القيام بالنشاط، بما يمكّن الطلاب من تحقيق الهدف المنشود. بمراجعة المفردات التي تم تدريسها من خلال الأنشطة التي تجذب الطلاب في سن المرحلة الثانوية، يمكن استخدام هذه النشاطات، التي تستغرق ما بين خمسة دقائق إلى عشرين دقيقة، كعملية تدريب على المفردات أو كمراجعة أساسية طوال العام الدراسي.
بمنحة من مؤسسة قطر الخيرية العالمية، تم تصميم هذا الموقع الذي يهدف إلى توفير مادة تدريسية يمكن أن يستخدمها المدرسون في قاعات الدراسة في المرحلة الثانوية، كما تصلح للاستخدام في برامج التطور المهني بالنسبة للمدرسين الآخرين وللعاملين في إدارة العملية التعليمية. يهدف الموقع من توفير هذه المواد التعليمية إلى ربط الطلاب باللغة العربية عبر طرائق تدريس تمت تجربتها داخل قاعات الدراسة حيث يستخدمها العديد من أساتذة اللغة العربية من ذوى الخبرة في بييئات تتحدث اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أولى.
This resource lists two activities designed to utilize the medium of music to impart crucial language-learning lessons. The activities – “musical cloze” and “jumbled lyrics” – aim to produce reading and listening comprehension skills, as well as the ability to infer from context. Additionally, the activities aim to produce the ability to raise “awareness of discourse markers and contextual clues.”
To achieve these goals, the resource lists detailed instructions regarding song selection, pre-activity preparations, and other methods during the activity that will enable students to achieve the desired goals. Through reviewing vocabulary and language concepts via activities that engage high school students at an age-appropriate level, these 5-20 minute activities can be used as practice, or as basic review, throughout the entire school year.
Made possible through a grant from Qatar Foundation International, Arabic Teaching Resources is a website that focuses on providing classroom material and resources to the high school Arabic teaching community, as well as professional development resources for other teachers and administrators. The site’s resources aim to connect students to the Arabic language through “classroom-tested” methods utilized by several experienced teachers of Arabic in English-speaking learning environments.
