يهدف هذا الكتاب إلى وضع أسس قواعد اللغة العربية. يبدأ الكتاب بالمفهوم الأساس وهو" الكلام" ويفصّل " أنواع الكلام " إضافة للفئات الأخرى، ويذهب إلى أن أنواع الكلام تشمل الاسم والفعل والحرف. وتزداد صعوبة وتعقيد الرسومات التوضيحية لشرح هذه التقسيمات. يستخدم الكتاب الجداول في الكتاب بصورة متفرقة وحسب مقتضى الحال، مثل الرسوم التوضيحية للأفعال، او قائمة تضم حالات اسم الجمع المكسور وما يقابلها من الاسم المفرد. يعتمد الكتاب بكامله تقريباً على الكتابة باللغة العربية.
This book is meant to lay down the fundamentals of Arabic grammar. It begins with the basic idea of ‘words’ and separates this into ‘parts of words’ as well as other categories, and ‘parts of words’ into ‘nouns,’ ‘verbs,’ and ‘particles.’ The flow charts gain in complexity from there. Tables are also included sporadically throughout the book where appropriate, such as verb charts and lists of broken plurals and their corresponding singular nouns. The book is almost entirely in Arabic.
