يوفّر هذا المصدر التعليمي الهام العديد من الجذور الثلاثية للمفردات العربية الشائعة مكتوبة بطريقة كتابة الأصوات العربية بالحروف اللاتينية ، وذلك بغرض تعريف الطلاب بنظام الجذر في اللغة العربية. يقدّم الموقع أولاً ملاحظات موجزة حول علم نظام الجذر في اللغة العربية، ومن ثمّ يعرض قائمة تضم جذور المفردات الشائعة وأمثلة للكلمات المشتقة من الجذر. قياساً، يتشابه ما يقدّمه هذا الموقع مع وظائف القواميس، ولكن على مدي أقل وبمستوى يلائم المبتدئين من الدارسين.
This largely transliterated resource provides a number of common trilateral roots in order to acquaint students with the root system. The website first offers brief remarks on the science behind the root system, then provides a list of common roots and a sampling of the words each root brings into being. Analogically, the site replicates the function of a dictionary, although in reduced scope and at a beginner’s level.
