يهدف هذا الكتاب إلى تدريس الطلاب كيفية كتابة اللغة العربية على خط النقش وخط الرقعة، أي الكتابة بخط اليد وتنضيد الحروف للطباعة. يحتوي أيضاً على مرشد يوضح كيفية النطق، إضافة للأرقام من واحد إلى عشرة. هنالك مساحة كافية للطالب للتدرّب على الكتابة وعلى تتبع الأمثلة على الخط المضمنة في الكتاب وكذلك كتابة كلمات وحروف من قبل الطالب بمفرده. يستهدف الكتاب أي دارس يرغب في تعلّم الكتابة بالخط العربي، وتحديداً الأفراد الذين يدرسون اللغة العربية بدون معلّم، وبدون أن يعرفوا بالضرورة ما يكتبون. لا يتضمن الكتاب دروس في المفردات أو قواعد اللغة العربية.
This book is for teaching students how to write Arabic in both naksh and ruq’a forms, i.e. handwritten and typeset. A pronunciation guide is included, as well as the numbers 1 through 10. There is practice space in the book to both trace examples and write your own words and letters. It is intended for anyone who wishes to learn how to write Arabic, particularly those individuals who are self-taught, and not to learn what it is you are writing. No vocabulary or grammar is covered.
