تحتوي لعبة الكلمة المخفية من موقع اللغة العربية اليومية على بنك للمفردات مع رقعة للمفردات العربية. تكون الكلمات في بنك المفردات مخفية في الرقعة التي تضم عدد كبير من المفردات، وعلى الطالب أن يعثر على الكلمات في الرقعة، والتي يمكن كتابتها أفقياً أو عمودياً. ما أن يتم العثور على جميع المفردات، تقود الحروف المتبقية الطالب إلى التعرّف على الكلمة المخفية. بالطبع يجب ترتيب الحروف بحيث يتضح معنى الكلمة المخفية.
تشترك الكلمات المبثوثة في الرقعة والكلمة المخفية في أنها تتعلق بالأدوات المنزلية العادية. يمكن تكبير الرقعة بحيث يمكن طباعتها، تشتمل اللعبة على ترجمة المفردات إلى اللغة الإنجليزية.
Everyday Arabic’s hidden words game provides a word bank and a alongside a sheet of Arabic words. Each word in the word bank is “hidden” within the larger sheet; students must find the words in the sheet, which can be written horizontally or vertically. Once all words are successfully found, the remaining letters will lead to one final word, the letters of which must be rearranged to ascertain the hidden word’s meaning.
The provided words in the bank and the hidden word all relate to common household objects and rooms. The bank and sheet can be enlarged for printing purposes. English translations of the words are also included.
