ينقسم الدرس السادس من دروس لوكليس إلى أربعة أقسام فرعية ويحتوي على صور توضح الأبجدية العربية. يمكن للمستخدم النقر على أي حرف من حروف الأبجدية ليستمع إلى الطريقة التي ينطق بها الحرف وما إذا كان يوجد له مقابل في أصوات اللغة الإنجليزية. بالرغم من أن عنوان القسم هو " كتابة اللغة العربية، إلاّ أنه لا يقدّم للمستخدم أي إرشادات عن كيفية كتابة الحروف أو اتصالها بالحروف الأخرى أثناء عرضها على المستخدم. ويتوقع من الدارسين نسخ الحروف حسب ما هو موضح على الشاشة.
يحتوي قسم قواعد اللغة الذي يضم أربعة شرائح أو صور معروضة على الشاشة شرح مبتسر للقواعد الخاصة التي تحكم اتصال الحروف ببعضها البعض. لا يمكن اعتبار القسم الخاص بقواعد اللغة كقسم قائم بذاته في مجمله كافياً لشرح كيفية كتابة اللغة العربية للدارسين.
Spread out over four subsections, lesson six contains visual images of the Arabic alphabet. Students can click each alphabet to hear how a letter is pronounced and whether or not it has an English equivalent. While the section is entitled “Writing Arabic,” users are not given instructions on how to shape or connect letters to one another while simultaneously viewing the letters. The students are presumably encouraged to copy the letters as they are seen on screen.
The grammar section, which spans four slides or screens, contains a smattering of the special rules governing the connecting of letters to one another. Taken as a whole, however, the grammar section is not a sufficient stand-alone guide to understanding how to write Arabic properly.
