يقدّم هذا الموقع دورة دراسية قصيرة تتكون من 13 درس كمقدمة لدراسة أبجدية اللغة العربية. تبين الدروس كيف تبدو الحروف العربية في أشكالها المختلفة، ويتيح الفرصة للدارسين التدرب على التعرّف على الحروف ولكن ليس على كتابتها. كما يقدّم باختصار للنظام الذي تعمل به الأبجدية، مثل الكتابة من اليمين لليسار وشكل الحروف المتصلة مع بعضها البعض وهلما جرّا. ويتيح الموقع أيضاً خاصية الاستماع لنطق الكلمات المكتوبة.
This website provides a brief, 13 lesson introduction to the Arabic alphabet. It shows how all the letters look in their different forms, and offers practice in spotting the letters, but not in producing them. It also offers a short introduction to how the Arabic alphabet works, i.e. written right to left, how the letters are connected, etc. The site provides audio files allowing users to hear the words they are reading.
