يركز هذا الكتاب المدرسي على أدوات الربط ( الحروف و العبارات و التعابير التي تربط بين الكلمات والعبارات والجمل والفقرات) في إطار منهج تحليل وظيفي يهدف إلى تطوير وتحسين مهارات الكتابة لدى طلاب اللغة العربية كلغة أجنبية في المستويين المتوسط والمتقدّم . يبدأ كل باب من أبواب الكتاب بتقديم وعرض التركيب اللغوي قيد الدراسة ويتبع ذلك نص نموذجي و أمثلة على استخدام أداة الربط في سياق جمل مختارة ومن ثمّ يقدّم سلسلة متدرجة من التمارين.لا يتضمن الكتاب ترجمة إنجليزية للجمل المستخدمة ، كما يوجد نموذج اختبار ملحق في نهاية الكتاب.
This textbook concentrates on the connectors (those articles, phrases, or idioms which join words, phrases, clauses, or sentences) in a functional setting with the aim of developing and improving the writing skills of intermediate and advanced students of Arabic as a foreign language. Each lesson of The Connectors begins with a presentation of the structures, followed by a sample text and sample sentences, before moving on to a graded series of exercises. Examples are not translated. The book contains a sample test at the end.
