يهدف هذا الموقع إلى شرح كم هائل من المفردات المذهلة في اللغة العربية الكلاسيكية من قاموس هانس وير للغة العربية الفصحى. يتيح الموقع للمستخدمين خاصية إدخال مفردات وترتيبها في عناوين فرعية وفقاً للهجات المختلفة مثلاً ، أو الأوزان والمقاييس، أو "إدخالات غاية في الغرابة" وغيرها من فئات. تكتب الإدخالات في القاموس باللغة العربية باستخدام حروف العلة القصيرة وتصحبها التعريفات والترجمة. يمكن للمستخدمين التعليق على الإدخالات ومناقشتها أيضاً.
This site’s purpose is to demonstrate to Arabic learners the huge quantity of remarkable classical Arabic words from the Hans Wher Dictionary of Modern Written Arabic. The site allows users to submit entries and groups them into sub topics such as various dialects, weights and measures, “super crazy entries,” and many others. Entries are written in Arabic with short vowels and accompanied by their definitions as well as a translation. Users can comment and have discussions about each entry.
