تعرض هذه القائمة مجموعة أساسية من مفردات اللغة التي تستخدم في مجال الجغرافيا وتوصيف الأماكن المختلفة ، وتشمل أسماء المدن والبلدان، فضلاّ عن المفردات المستخدمة في توصيف الاتجاهات الجغرافية. تشتمل المجموعة أيضاً على مفردات وأفعال تستخدم في مواضيع تتعلق بالعثور على أقليم أو بلد محدد على الخريطة.
