يسعى مشروع القاموس المجاني الكوني إلى ترجمة أكثر من مائة لغة من وإلى اللغة الإنجليزية. يشتمل القاموس على مكوّن صوتي يحتوي على الكلمات الإنجليزية وكذلك يحتوي على ملفات مرئية. بالإضافة إلى القاموس الرئيسي، يوفّر الموقع قوائم مفردات مصنّفة حسب الفئة، وقاموس مصوّ، وأداة للتدرّب على تعلّم المفردات، وأمثلة على استخدام المفردات والعبارات، وقواميس يمكن تنزيلها من الإنترنت مجاناً، وتطبيقات على الهواتف الذكية، وتطبيقات قواميس يمكن استخدامها بدون الاتصال بالإنترنت، وغيرها.
The Universal Dictionary is a free dictionary project that translates over 100 languages to and from English. The dictionary includes an audio component for the English word as well as a visual component. In addition to the main dictionary, the website offers categorized word lists, a picture dictionary, vocabulary trainer, examples of use, phrases, downloadable dictionaries, apps, dictionary applications to be used offline, and more.
